In my spare time I like to do a bit of ruby/rails development. I usually use a mix of tools such as my shell, vim and RubyMine but lately I’ve been working with Sublime Text. For those of you who haven’t used it before take a look at this Youtube video to get a hint of what its all about. All I can say is Sublime Text has made me a much faster developer.
In any case there are still a lot of things that would improve my rails development so I’m writing a Sublime Text plugin to help. It is just a start but already supports some basic bundler commands and I’ve got a little work to do and I’ll update it with gem, rails, rake, rspec and cucumber support. It understands rvm and rbenv so no more messing with the environment to get sublime text to work with those commands.
Take a look and let me know what you think.
